Meet Arthur – a 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross Shih Tzu who absolutely adores people and is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. The more fuss you make of him the better! He will curl up beside you for cuddles. His tail wags constantly! He is a really sweet dog who loves playing with his toys and with people. He walks really well on his lead and is a dream to walk. He loves going out.
Arthur growled a little when he first came in but soon settled. He shows no inclination to jump fences but small gaps will need to be plugged as he is small. Arthur has not been tested with cats but is sociable with his foster mum’s dogs – although not so good with strange dogs. He’s a really happy little chap who is ok to be left for a few hours and sleeps happily in a crate.
Arthur loves to be touched as is sociable with adults. Children scare him so over 10 years old, dog savvy children would be suitable to share a home with him. Arthur does get travel sick in the car. Household noises are no problem and Arthur is fully house trained.
Arthur is looking for a home with no small children and preferably older people. As long as he can have lots of cuddles and attention he will be very happy. He’s a loving little lad who is looking for a forever family who he can dote on. Did we mention he likes cuddles?
Arthur is up to date with his flea treatment, vaccinations is wormed and is micro-chipped. He is neutered. Prospective adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in South Wales.
